Maui Jim are the GOAT's
I've been purchasing Maui Jim sunglasses for decades. I like that they use glass for their lenses. Sure, they might be a small amount heavier (and I mean a small amount!). The clarity and quality of their lenses is always there with Maui Jim. These glasses are pretty light but fit well and snug enough. Also, their customer service is outstanding. I dropped an older pair and as usual it was right when my eyesight was. Since they were a few years old the rubberized frames showed just a tiny amount of wear. Maui Jim sent me a brand new pair! I can't say they'd do this in every situation but it shows their level of customer service.

I tried several of the maui jim fashion glasses for women, but they just didn't work for me in terms of function or looks. I like full coverage that blocks sun from the sides and I do not want to see the side rims in my vision at all. I recently had cataract surgery and got the PanOptix lens which makes everything bright and clear and wanted good eye protection from the hot Texas sun when driving or outdoors. As soon as I put them on I knew instantly the fit was perfect. They do not feel heavy to me at all. Love them.

Better than expected
I have always worn high quality sunglasses, beginning with Revo a long time ago. I have missed the 'solid' construction nowadays with all the lightweight plastic sunglasses. These are GREAT. Good, solid feel. Good fit and durable lenses (vs the light plastic ones that are impossible to keep clean). If you are looking for lightweight, these are not for you. If you want something more substantial, these are awesome. PS the lens quality of all the Maui's are very good, so this review is focused on the other features.

Great clarity, but a bit heavy
I've had these sunglasses for 7 years now, and absolutely love them. Lost a nose pad once, and Maui Jim's excellent customer service sent me a pair for free. Only downside is the lenses are glass, and are heavier than plastic alternatives. This causes them to slide a bit on warmer days where you're sweating. Overall love these glasses, and would definitely buy again.
Although It's Discontinued but it's worth it. And it suits most of people.

These are a great pair of sunglasses. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but this was the lowest price I found for them. They were going for around $300 (after taxes) everywhere else. Clarity and color looking through them are incomparable to all other polarized sunglasses I've had in the past. I would recommend Maui Jim's to anyone who wants a good pair if sunglasses and willing to pay the price. Remember, you get what you pay for! ;)

The short and sweet of it is Maui Jim's knocks the socks off of my old standby, Ray what's? The clarity on these lens are incredible. I was set on picking up another pair of Rayban's (Polarized) and the sales associate pulled out a pair of MJs. It was like night and day. Where have you been all my life?? Highly recommend if the style fits your fancy as the lens are top notch. 3 large is a bit pricey, but it's well worth it!
Incomparable
I've been wearing MJs for the past 15 years and will wear nothing else. I have Cyclones (discontinued) and recently purchased HCL bronze Peahis and neutral grey Black Corals. The optics are amazing and I love having several different styles to choose from depending on my mood. Regardless of which Maui Jim style you choose, you will not be sorry for paying the premium price. They are worth every penny.

Bought a pair of these for the first time maybe 4-5 years and am currently on my 3rd pair because previous ones were misplaced/stolen. Even so, I still come back to these because once you see through Maui Jim lenses there really isn't going back. Colors being more vibrant through the lens and resulting in a higher contrast really does make a difference during the day, and I often find myself wearing them until the darkness starts to inevitably obstruct/hamper my vision. The construction and materials also feel really solid, having gone through several pairs I did crack the glass on one after dropping it repeatedly (obviously my bad).

Perfect pair of glasses
I buy at least one pair of high end sunglasses per year. I have owned multiple pairs of oakleys, ray ban, revo, and Serengeti.. This is my first pair of Maui jims, although I have always wanted some. After only a week this is already my favorite pair that I own, knocking out my previous favorite Serengeti. Why? Well first let me start by saying for years I loved the looks of the oakleys and other brands/ styles that you can only get with plastic lens but for the last 5 years or so I will only buy glasses with real glass lens. The plastic lens no matter how much "anti scratch" coating they put on them, they still scratch or in my case with revo glasses actually crack them. I have yet to scratch or break a pair with glass lens. Back to the mauis... The glass in these is so thin, light, and the clearest. A lot of sunglasses I have a problem with seeing the reflection of my eye in them while wearing them, but no problem at all with these. Compared to my photochromatic Serengeti glasses and my ray bans these are a darker tint but they are a nice neutral grey which does not affect color.

Comfortable. Solid. Great optical clarity. Note: be aware that this glasses have a warm color cast, that is they seem almost rose tinted. It is a personable preference whether you like that or not. Initially I wasn't very keen on the effect but it has grown on me.

Most sunglasses I've tried I don't like because they hug my face tightly and I tend to steam up the lenses in high humidity locations when I do little activity. The fit of these frames is wide allowing plenty of air to circulate. I would not play beach volleyball in them but they are great for driving and casual outdoor social activity because the fit is not snug and the lenses are glass and not polycarbonate. I really like the fit for this reason. The amber colored Maui Jim glass lenses are well documented for providing exceptional clarity and contrast while reduce glare and stopping UV rays. I can confirm the view through these lenses is amazing. I also like the look of these glasses... classy, sophisticated.HOWEVER... a little over a year after purchasing I was on vacation in the Caribbean and I noticed a hairline crack in the lens near the temple a couple of centimeters long. Throughout my trip this crack began to expand and spider on its own. I could not notice the crack with my vision and it was not so obvious at looking at the glasses when I was wearing them, but it was there and growing. By the time I returned home crack had spidered across nearly half of the lens. I went on line, completed and printed the online service form, explained what I observed with the expanding crack and shipped it in with no original receipt, just my word on the month purchased. There is an automatic $10 service charge and if MJ determines it is not a warranty fix there is an additional $70 charge. In just a little over a week my glasses have been returned to me like new and I was only charged the $10 service charge. Rarely in my life I need 'customer service' as I tend to not be demanding and high maintenance, but I was pleasantly surprised with this experience, the speed of service and trust in customer that is lacking with many companies today, that easily could have turned me against the brand. I certainly am likely to buy Maui Jim's for my next sunglasses purchase.

I've had these now for some time and I love the polarized lenses and fit of the glasses on my face. I have a slightly larger head so the smaller wire glasses usually do not fit well, but these are some of the best fitting ones that I have ever owned. I was able to save by ordering by amazon compared to the retail store I first saw these in and almost purchased on the spot. I'm glad I waited and got online. They are definitely authentic and also come with a very cool hard case to protect them when they are not being worn.

Yes, these are old school gems! I've owned maybe 6 or 8 pairs of these babies over the years. I'm generally not kind to any form of glasses and have dropped, ran over, sat on, lost and generally destroyed my Maui Jims even when I treat them with loving care. Thank God for Maui Jim's repair department. Unfortunately they couldn't help me with the totally destroyed or lost ones. Why do I continue to purchase this particular model? They have real glass lens. I've tried all the other brands (not to be mentioned herein) out there and nothing compares! I have prescription glasses for everyday use but can't drive with the bi focals. I also can't drive with the 'not to be mentioned' as they distort too much. Not so with the Maui Jims! For crystal clear vision, get Maui Jim glasses with real glass! Do I recommend these? You bet, just don't buy all of them.

Nothing short of brilliant!
Maui Jim, in general, are the highest quality glasses in the market--by far. I really like these glasses in particular because they are the only one's that fit my big, round head. The lenses are amazing...they are made of glass and polarized. Sometimes, I can see the prism from the sunlight off other car's windshield while driving--and it stops glares in it's track. The lens and frame is high quality and you get exceptional performance, although they are delicate and prone to scratches--you should always handle them with care. I've had my eye on these for some time and found that Amazon has the best prices--some retailers will match on line prices if you haggle and/or buy a few or more pairs to get your business. I also have to mention that seller was outstanding--I was expected to get these 3-4 weeks; however, I sent them an e-mail (which they responded next day), and got them in 3 business days! Simply amazing considering they are in the UK. When I opened the package,I meticulously looked for any form of damage or counterfeit. I work on jet engines so I had a 10x power to inspect the product--it came in perfect condition and is as authentic as I can tell. I am thoroughly impressed with the competitive price from Amazon, outstanding performance from the seller, and the top-of-the-line quality from the manufacturer. I highly recommend Maui Jim and getting from Amazon.

I own two pairs of Ray Ban's and the last pair I purchased where made in China so I will never buy that brand again. I also own a pair of Revo's and Serengeti sunglasses. These Maui Jims are far superior to the others period.. The Ray Ban's are junk, I get glare back in my eyes from them, the Serengeti are pretty good but not as good as these MJ's.. Hey they are expensive but to me they are worth it. They are a bit heavy but good quality glass isn't cheap, I did say glass not plastic. Hey Ray-Ban I have jumped ship !!

I did not buy my glasses on Amazon, but they are the best sunglasses I have ever owned. Far exceed Prada's. I like the fact they use REAL Glass in them which does not scratch as easily as plastic. Further, when I dropped my sunglasses on a tile floor Maui Jim fixed them for $10, which means I will be buying all my sunglasses from them from now on. They earned my loyalty.

The short and sweet of it is Maui Jim's knocks the socks off of my old standby, Ray what's? The clarity on these lens are incredible. I was set on picking up another pair of Rayban's (Polarized) and the sales associate pulled out a pair of MJs. It was like night and day. Where have you been all my life?? Highly recommend if the style fits your fancy as the lens are top notch. 3 large is a bit pricey, but it's well worth it!
Incomparable
I've been wearing MJs for the past 15 years and will wear nothing else. I have Cyclones (discontinued) and recently purchased HCL bronze Peahis and neutral grey Black Corals. The optics are amazing and I love having several different styles to choose from depending on my mood. Regardless of which Maui Jim style you choose, you will not be sorry for paying the premium price. They are worth every penny.

These are great sunglasses. They don't work well as shoes however (poke at web software asking me if they are too wide/narrow and do they give good arch support).

Bought a pair of these for the first time maybe 4-5 years and am currently on my 3rd pair because previous ones were misplaced/stolen. Even so, I still come back to these because once you see through Maui Jim lenses there really isn't going back. Colors being more vibrant through the lens and resulting in a higher contrast really does make a difference during the day, and I often find myself wearing them until the darkness starts to inevitably obstruct/hamper my vision. The construction and materials also feel really solid, having gone through several pairs I did crack the glass on one after dropping it repeatedly (obviously my bad).

Perfect pair of glasses
I buy at least one pair of high end sunglasses per year. I have owned multiple pairs of oakleys, ray ban, revo, and Serengeti.. This is my first pair of Maui jims, although I have always wanted some. After only a week this is already my favorite pair that I own, knocking out my previous favorite Serengeti. Why? Well first let me start by saying for years I loved the looks of the oakleys and other brands/ styles that you can only get with plastic lens but for the last 5 years or so I will only buy glasses with real glass lens. The plastic lens no matter how much "anti scratch" coating they put on them, they still scratch or in my case with revo glasses actually crack them. I have yet to scratch or break a pair with glass lens. Back to the mauis... The glass in these is so thin, light, and the clearest. A lot of sunglasses I have a problem with seeing the reflection of my eye in them while wearing them, but no problem at all with these. Compared to my photochromatic Serengeti glasses and my ray bans these are a darker tint but they are a nice neutral grey which does not affect color.

Comfortable. Solid. Great optical clarity. Note: be aware that this glasses have a warm color cast, that is they seem almost rose tinted. It is a personable preference whether you like that or not. Initially I wasn't very keen on the effect but it has grown on me.

Most sunglasses I've tried I don't like because they hug my face tightly and I tend to steam up the lenses in high humidity locations when I do little activity. The fit of these frames is wide allowing plenty of air to circulate. I would not play beach volleyball in them but they are great for driving and casual outdoor social activity because the fit is not snug and the lenses are glass and not polycarbonate. I really like the fit for this reason. The amber colored Maui Jim glass lenses are well documented for providing exceptional clarity and contrast while reduce glare and stopping UV rays. I can confirm the view through these lenses is amazing. I also like the look of these glasses... classy, sophisticated.HOWEVER... a little over a year after purchasing I was on vacation in the Caribbean and I noticed a hairline crack in the lens near the temple a couple of centimeters long. Throughout my trip this crack began to expand and spider on its own. I could not notice the crack with my vision and it was not so obvious at looking at the glasses when I was wearing them, but it was there and growing. By the time I returned home crack had spidered across nearly half of the lens. I went on line, completed and printed the online service form, explained what I observed with the expanding crack and shipped it in with no original receipt, just my word on the month purchased. There is an automatic $10 service charge and if MJ determines it is not a warranty fix there is an additional $70 charge. In just a little over a week my glasses have been returned to me like new and I was only charged the $10 service charge. Rarely in my life I need 'customer service' as I tend to not be demanding and high maintenance, but I was pleasantly surprised with this experience, the speed of service and trust in customer that is lacking with many companies today, that easily could have turned me against the brand. I certainly am likely to buy Maui Jim's for my next sunglasses purchase.

I've had these now for some time and I love the polarized lenses and fit of the glasses on my face. I have a slightly larger head so the smaller wire glasses usually do not fit well, but these are some of the best fitting ones that I have ever owned. I was able to save by ordering by amazon compared to the retail store I first saw these in and almost purchased on the spot. I'm glad I waited and got online. They are definitely authentic and also come with a very cool hard case to protect them when they are not being worn.

I chose these because I have a larger head and wanted quality polarized lenses. These work for just about everything from boating to snow skiing even on cloudy days. I also have the gray lens Black Coral's for the bright sunny days, but I use these about 95% of the time.

Yes, these are old school gems! I've owned maybe 6 or 8 pairs of these babies over the years. I'm generally not kind to any form of glasses and have dropped, ran over, sat on, lost and generally destroyed my Maui Jims even when I treat them with loving care. Thank God for Maui Jim's repair department. Unfortunately they couldn't help me with the totally destroyed or lost ones. Why do I continue to purchase this particular model? They have real glass lens. I've tried all the other brands (not to be mentioned herein) out there and nothing compares! I have prescription glasses for everyday use but can't drive with the bi focals. I also can't drive with the 'not to be mentioned' as they distort too much. Not so with the Maui Jims! For crystal clear vision, get Maui Jim glasses with real glass! Do I recommend these? You bet, just don't buy all of them.

These sun glasses are fantastic! 5 stars. Just a little tight.. I have a large head. I strongly recommend these glasses. Only negative is that it took several weeks to receive them. They worth the wait.

They are just a little heavy, but they have glass lenses, so it is hard to complain about that. It would be great if the case was more rigid to protect them since they are so expensive.

Nothing short of brilliant!
Maui Jim, in general, are the highest quality glasses in the market--by far. I really like these glasses in particular because they are the only one's that fit my big, round head. The lenses are amazing...they are made of glass and polarized. Sometimes, I can see the prism from the sunlight off other car's windshield while driving--and it stops glares in it's track. The lens and frame is high quality and you get exceptional performance, although they are delicate and prone to scratches--you should always handle them with care. I've had my eye on these for some time and found that Amazon has the best prices--some retailers will match on line prices if you haggle and/or buy a few or more pairs to get your business. I also have to mention that seller was outstanding--I was expected to get these 3-4 weeks; however, I sent them an e-mail (which they responded next day), and got them in 3 business days! Simply amazing considering they are in the UK. When I opened the package,I meticulously looked for any form of damage or counterfeit. I work on jet engines so I had a 10x power to inspect the product--it came in perfect condition and is as authentic as I can tell. I am thoroughly impressed with the competitive price from Amazon, outstanding performance from the seller, and the top-of-the-line quality from the manufacturer. I highly recommend Maui Jim and getting from Amazon.

I own two pairs of Ray Ban's and the last pair I purchased where made in China so I will never buy that brand again. I also own a pair of Revo's and Serengeti sunglasses. These Maui Jims are far superior to the others period.. The Ray Ban's are junk, I get glare back in my eyes from them, the Serengeti are pretty good but not as good as these MJ's.. Hey they are expensive but to me they are worth it. They are a bit heavy but good quality glass isn't cheap, I did say glass not plastic. Hey Ray-Ban I have jumped ship !!
